Schools shuttered in Agorkedzi, hundreds of people uprooted by tidal waves

Image
Following a rainfall, tidal surges have forced hundreds of people of Agorkedzi in the Anloga District of the Volta Region to leave their homes. The local assemblyman, Raphael Agbanavor, said that tidal surges had wrecked the livelihoods of people in Agorkedzi and the other places, and that immediate action is required to provide some solace to the afflicted. He said that on Sunday afternoon, the tidal waters broke, destroying several structures and people's possessions.  Those who were transferred from Fuveme township, which experienced sea waves the previous year, were among the casualties. "The area's sole elementary school, which had been moved from Fuveme to Agorkedzi, was under water. Since instruction and learning cannot go on in such a poor environment, we were forced to close the school, he added.   “This is the third time this is happening here and the immediate action to take now to safe lives is to relocate these people to a safer place,” he said. “It is not...

"Doggy style" connected to penis fracture

Image
(Barros et al. 2017; Barros et al. 2020) Some research have connected doggie style to penis fracture. I'm aware that many people may find this post offensive, but it's crucial for the wellbeing of guys. According to research, an erect penis might sustain a fracture when it is injured. Studies have mentioned this problem and connected it to canine fashion.  For instance, three case studies of penile fracture connected to intense sexual activity in Cape Coast among males aged 31 to 60 were described in a recent research by Assabill et al. in Ghana (2022). The absence of bones in the penis makes penile fractures unique from other types of body fractures. The penis becomes engorged with blood that fills two cylinders (corpora cavernosa) during an erection. One of the two cylinders' outer linings (tunica albuginea) may be torn apart if an engorged penis is bent abruptly or violently. A fractured penis may arise from this. Sexual action, such as when the penis unintentionally bu...

BEAUTIFUL RESORTS ARE BEING BUILT IN KETA BUT WE THE LOCAL PEOPLE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO VISIT THEM

BEAUTIFUL RESORTS ARE BEING BUILT IN KETA BUT WE THE LOCAL PEOPLE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO VISIT THEM I just left Meet-Me-There, one of the tourist places in the Keta tourism area. It was built by a white person a few years ago. As a teenager, I used to go there while it was being built, and we (my friends and I) were among the first frequent visitors who patronized the place. It wasn't popular and definitely wasn't making big money. Today, we are being told "Guests Only."  A while ago, I visited the same place with visitors from Accra. My friends were excited to see the place, and as the "mayor" of Keta tourism, I took them around. But when we got to Meet-Me-There, we were told we could not visit the place, buy water or food because of COVID. I tried to talk to the owners (a white man sitting comfortably in his office with his girlfriend (maybe)). He insisted that the COVID rules put in place by the management must be followed. I knew something wasn't ri...
